Blog: It’s true… the truth does hurt

By admin

Despite having finals in a week, I felt very compelled to write a blog, discussing some issues I have heard recently in the past month. From being stalked in LA auditions to harassed on Twitter to being attacked on a video blog, I’ve had an eventful month and it seems like I can’t ever escape petty drama. But one thing that did get my attention in this ordeal is hearing about a false and made up title that I have seen creep up in the competitive gaming community. It is a dangerous thing because it is claims like these that will be used to deceive more gamers and possibly companies into undeserving sponsorships. This is an infectious problem that needs to be weeded out before it grows root. What I’m talking are people like Ciji who call themselves “multi-genre gamers”. First of all it is a self-named title that mediocre players give themselves to cover up their less than average skills. Second, almost all gamers are multi-genre gamers unless they only have played one game in their life. These people have accomplished nothing more than the average gamer except they are foolish enough to enter into competitions and lose in every one of them. I’m not saying there is anything wrong with competing in multiple tournaments but marketing yourself as the best male or female multi-genre gamer when the truth is you’re not good in any of the games you play or even come close to competing at a top tier level is just plain bullshit. Even Fatality and Justin Wong as accomplished as they are in multiple games, have competed solely in their own genre of games. How dare you, Ciji, call yourself the best at anything when you haven’t won a single prestigious or notable event/title? You can’t compete with the best Guitar Hero players no matter how easy the game gets. You aren’t even close to being top 20 in Street Fighter and not even the best female fighter. Your “MI state champion” Soul Caliber 2 title has been proven false by the community and whatever else game you’ve played in you’ve never even gotten a glimpse of the top. So what is this fabricated multi-genre gamer title?

You tried to call me out for trying to audition for Ultimate Gamer when I supposedly make fun of them but apparently even after being on the show you have no idea what you were getting yourself into. WCG Ultimate Gamer is what it advertises itself to be, a reality show and nothing more. Like any reality show, whether it’s based around a Counter-Strike: Source LAN tournament or a bingo hall, the winners are unlikely to come out as vastly different individuals as opposed to when they went in. The contestants that have participated in the show have come out just the same as they were going in. There is no new category of “multi-genre gamers”. Anyone who calls themselves that is nothing more than a fool trying to distinguish themselves with a false and phony title. Like you I play multiple games, in fact I have been sponsored and salaried for Unreal Tournament first, then Guitar Hero second. I play fighters, racing, and RPGs, but do I run around bragging about being a multi-genre gamer? Of course not because that is a given as it is with most gamers.

You claim that GH5 is too easy and that is why you don’t want to compete. What kind of excuse is that? You never could keep up with us when GH was hard so now that the game is easier than ever, you might actually have a chance to qualify. You say it’s so easy because everyone is going to FC all the songs then why don’t you show us you can do it? Why not put up a video of you FCing a tier 4 or 5 song? The truth of the matter is no matter how hard or easy the song list becomes you will never come close to competing at our level and you know it which is why you back out year after year. If you think I’m wrong than prove it by simply going to one legit competition this year and prove you can compete with the big dogs. Whether it’s Devastation, EVO, or WCG, just show you can play at a top tier level. Finish top 10 or even top 20 for SSF4; make it to the national finals for Guitar Hero, you don’t even need to win. You have a lot of haters not because we are just out to get you, but because you run from a challenge and talk shit behind your computer. If you would have just played me and taken your beating, no one would hate you or think less of you. But the fact that you are given no respect and get made fun of is because you have never once proven your skill in any genre of games. You make excuses for every one of your losses whether to amateurs or pros.

And it’s so hypocritical that you try to make fun of me for saying I won my WCG qualifiers and am one of the top GH players in the world, yet at the same time you say you are a supporter of female gamers. My accomplishments alone have broken the stereotype of female gamers. I have done what few other females can do: Compete in a top tier level alongside male gamers and I have done this in both PC shooters and Guitar Hero. So I really think what I choose to post on MY site and MY profiles regarding my accomplishments is none of your business, especially if they’re accomplishments that I actually achieved on my own. In fact, you are far from being any positive representation of female gamers because I have never encountered a person who has started more problems with girls in the gaming community than you. One last note, if you are ever going to make a blog, video, or comment, don’t remove it the next day. It just makes you look cowardly. And if I were you, I would think twice before you call me out again.

Finally I want to send a message to my fans and readers: Being a progamer sure as hell isn’t about dying your hair every color of the rainbow and being a Hot Topic fanboy. It definitely has nothing to do with tattoos, piercings or colored contacts for that matter. These people are nothing more than posers if they don’t have the skill to back it up. One has to follow the other and undoubtedly, skill should be placed ahead of any of that other garbage.

And the saga continues…

The truth hurts, but these wannabe pro players have to know their place. Being on UG means jack shit. They, except for Geoff and Mark, make US esports look like a fucking joke. Considering how Europe and Asia already laugh at us, clowns like them only makes it worst.

Good blog and LOL at your stalker issues. You should play Starcraft 2 Annie :) now that’s a real esports game.

4

Are you on crack Genoz? lol Pretty sure swoozie and myself have represented the USA pretty well in the E-Sports. To excuse myself, Gow isn’t that popular overseas though, but I did a fantastic job representing myself as well as female gamers. :)

5

Ciji seems to think Guitar Hero competitive is dead but there seems to be a bunch of tournaments this year?

Hmm…

Also I look forward to her scatterbrain FC.

6

LOL

Yeah anyone can be mediocre at something, but in the real world nobody will pay you to be just “ok” at something. I’m a mediocre basketball player, but you don’t see me in the NBA playing with Lebron. Being “ok” at a bunch of things doesn’t change the fact that you still suck in general. Nobody wants to see that shit.

The truth is professional gaming is just an excuse to advertise products to dumbasses. Specifically the dumbasses who actually believe that a “SUPER ADVANCED GAMING MOUSE WITH ZERO OXYGEN COPPER WIRES AND SUPER FAST LASER BEAMS” will actually help them play games better.

When I went to quakecon it was actually exciting to watch the games. Why was it exciting? Because the players were actually good. I would have fucking shot myself in the face if I had to watch scrubzilla-starslayer do anything more than take my order at McDonalds or die in a car accident. The point is it takes years and years to become truly “good” at anything, and minus a few very borderline exceptions there is no such thing as a multi-genre professional gamer. The End.

7

Oh and to all of you fake ass people on here posting “:D” smiley faces, and talking about representing the US: be fucking real. You’re talking as if anyone in the US even cares about professional gaming. Besides a bunch of naive 13 year old kids you’re the only people who actually believe professional gaming is a viable career. Statistically you have a better chance of winning the lottery than being a successful professional gamer. Most of you have a better chance of being an astronaut, than being a “professional gamer”. Enjoy your foodstamps.

8

Also Annie it’s too bad that you have to deal with this shit from loser, scrubby, child-neglecting nobodies. You are one example of a female in gaming who actually puts in the effort to become good at the game, rather than just relying on looks or some other BS. It really sucks that you don’t get recognized for that, and it also sucks that talentless assholes can weasel away what is rightfully yours.

Well at least you are graduating from a major university, and can actually preform in the real world outside of gaming. So it’s not really sour grapes to say that, in the long run but more likely the near future, all of those retards will probably be homeless or dead. And you’ll probably still be hot and rich. So in their dumb jerk faces.

10

daaamn ether.

Ciji plays sf4 at an amazingly high level. Don’t hate.

I had to fill out income taxes for playing Guitar Hero the past year and I represented the US in a world competition. :D

You’re such a beautiful girl, I got yellow fever like woah.

Well since you’re not posting anything that is being said in her favor (yeah there’s a bunch of us in an irc chat talking about this and several of us have tried to post with you not approving them)

This is to you. 1) you’re a stupid bitch. 2) there has never been any evidence of her saying she was a state champion in soul calibur just her saying “I’ve won so many tournaments” and it showing 15 wins under her name on ultimate gamer. The rest was the soul calibur community ASSUMING she meant michigan because that’s where she’s from. First everyone said she claimed to be a california state champ because they didn’t know she was from michigan so yeah, if you’re going to google and youtube shit about her because you hate her google EVERYTHING to get the truth instead of posting bullshit. But then again that’s not what you do now is it? Just like how you put you were the first female to qualify for wcg when you never even made mention that she COMPETED on team usa. You fail to acknowledge anything positive that she has done.
3) What the fuck is she doing that is any different then the Frag Dolls? You going to go talk shit about that group now because they’re basically a group of “FEMALE PRO GAMERS” who play multi genre games but they don’t win anything? Name the last time a frag doll placed top 5 in ANY tournament. It was Alyson in Rainbow 6 and that was years ago. So yeah, she’s doing better than them.

Basically here’s your truth Annie. You’re pissed because you think you’re better than her yet you get no attention. The only time ANYONE pays any attention to any shit you post on your page is when you post blogs about her talking shit. That really should tell you something. You sit here and talk about her being cowardly and pulling stuff down off the internet yet maybe she does it to not start shit or maybe for another reason, no one knows because we’re not her. On top of that you post a shit talking blog with LIES and refuse to post peoples comments who are talking about the truth. It looks to me like YOU’RE the coward Annie.

I have not removed anyone’s comments for disagreeing with me, whether now or in the past. Anyone who wishes to comment is free to do so. As in any forum or community, some regulation/moderation is needed to keep the discussion sane, safe and secure. Only the following types of comments aren’t approved: Spam, advertisements, harassment/sass, malicious links, low content/worthless posts, and hate speeches of any kind.

Anyone is welcome to comment with their opinions but please do so in an intelligible manner that doesn’t make you look like a 12-year old.

@ LoLatcommentmoderation

Your emotions seem to have gotten the best of you. Obviously this has touched you on a personal level… which is bizarre because if you are so offended by the truth and want to retort, why use a proxy to post? Pretty hypocritical.

On to the topic – actually there has been plenty of times Ciji has either stated or implied that she was one of the best Soul Caliber 2 players in the states. Even long before Ultimate Gamer was around it was padding her so-called accomplishment lists from top to bottom.

Proof of statement: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nKWJlITGdW4#t=6m49s

You’re right, no event was ever written or said in detail but that was only to hide the obvious fact that nothing substantial was ever won. Just like the term “multi-genre gamer” that has now been coined is really just a way to have multi-amounts of excuses when it comes time to explain why you didn’t place first at an event instead of just stating the truth of not being good enough. She won nothing more then a couple basement get-togethers with friends who happened to also own the game. If anything beyond that was won, or even competed in, then the Soul Caliber community would at least know about it. They don’t, she lied, end of story.

The problem with this SC2 situation is the same as GH and every other gaming background she’s sworn to achieved some “professional” status in. Her same claim to fame in GH is fluffed and filled with playing in McDonald’s parking lots with random walk-ups and in bowling alleys when in reality she’s never even come close to FC’ing a difficult song or beaten a single top player in any event. If everything was based solely on skill, no one would ever know who she is.

Ciji competed on Team USA? No, not really. To get on WCG’s Team USA you must win your national qualifier in your game which consists of beating out every top player in the states. The truth is she was taken from the Ultimate Gamer cast and sent to Mexico for promotion. And on top of it, still placed 7th against a country that has less-skilled players then the US. Is it so hard to understand the difference between earning something and having it spoon-fed to you?

Bringing up the Frag Dolls is pointless and another horribly weak attempt at defending your position. They were never mentioned in this blog, or anywhere on this site as far as I know. They are not even gamers yet alone “professionals” or tournament players. They are simply a marketing device, walking billboards paid by Ubisoft to do promotion. Nothing more, nothing less and everyone out there knows that.

Sorry but Annie has absolutely nothing to worry about when it comes to gaining the respect and support of others. Her ability speaks enough for her and she doesn’t need multi-colored hair or endless amounts of crying sound bytes from reality shows to make people know who she is.

The true reality is Ciji stalks this site, and Annie’s Twitter like a hungry animal. This entire recent situation all spawned because of a post on Annie’s Twitter page that had absolutely nothing to do with Ciji. But of course, Ciji being vein and assuming, felt everything has to do with her so she “retaliated” at the UG2 auditions and started to shit talk the admins there about Annie before she got in the door. You want to know what a coward is? You’re defending one. And by not even revealing who you are, you’ve become one.

As always I have to reiterate, this is not an attack. These are merely facts being stated in a blunt and obvious manner. If it’s such a bothersome topic for you or Ciji for that matter, she has all the opportunity in the world to change it. There are tons of events for Guitar Hero and Super Street Fighter IV for her to break into that top tier status and finally earn the status she claims to have. Until then the “professional gamer” title needs to be dropped and forgotten.

Not me, or you, or pretty much anyone other than Rapha or T² is a “professional gamer” in our country. That term was created the day Thresh won a Ferrari from John Carmack and then pushed even further by Fatal1ty when he started living solely off of his tournament winnings and endorsements because of his ABILITY. That term now, thanks to people like Ciji and console players across the nation is completely worthless. But lets break it down once and for all so you can fully comprehend it:

#1. You must be the best, or one of the best in the world at the game you’re playing.

#2. You must have legitimate tournament wins at tournaments with the other top players to prove #1.

#3. You must be playing a game that offers enough money tournaments for you to win on a consistent basis to support yourself on that alone, or with the help of sponsors/endorsements that you get BECAUSE of #1 and #2. If you are getting paid by someone to wear a T-shirt that makes their logo look bigger because of your tits, you are not a professional.

#4. You must do nothing else. No job, no school, at least not primarily. A PROFESSIONAL does his PROFESSION primarily, and everything else in leisure. Aka: A full time student that plays Halo 3 at a tournament twice a year and gets 32nd place is not a fucking professional gamer. He is a student that goes to events and loses.

That’s it. If you don’t meet all 4 requirements then you’re not a fucking professional, don’t claim to be one and stop watering down a once prestigious term.

I dunno how i stumbled upon this. Good old stryfe. Still witty as fuck.

Alright, I have to put my ideas up on this topic. This whole situation

Personally, I believe that Ciji is going way out of her league in a couple of ways. First, she has her multiple discreet claims of being a far better player than she is. This has been debunked, and I’m not going to push it further. Second, it appears that her notion of credibility and “professional” are highly skewed. It has been pointed out that Ciji has very little actual credibility, whether it be in terms of titles, top 10 / top 20 placings, or other actual accomplishments within her “profession”. In my mind, this is the equivalent of saying that you are a world-class physicist without having a PhD in some branch of the field.

Now, I realize that I’m going about stating my thoughts in a somewhat disjointed way, but allow me to place a simple idea before this post’s readers: Being a professional requires a professional attitude. In the case of gaming, this means sportsmanship, cooperation, appreciation, and a degree of humility. Part of my dislike of UG stems from the simple fact that it picks up a bunch of arrogant and hotheaded players with the intention of using them as dramatized characters. They might be good at whatever games they play, but I tend to miss their professionalism as people. Having said this, there is a bit of dramatization about the whole thing, but the archetypes are all based off of real personality trends in gaming.

I HATE getting on XBL or Steam, though with PC gaming it tends not to be that bad, and joining a game where a few over-confident and egotistical players ruin the whole fun of the game for me and my friends. I see a problem in general plaguing certain gaming communities, even at the casual level, where players are being wholly inconsiderate of each other and definitively childish. It seems like I’ve not heard a player say “nice shot” or “great play” since two summers ago, when I played with Annie and a group of six players who respected each other. Now, I’ll admit that the group of us (not including Annie) were victim to petty annoyances and peeves that we let distract us in the course of our play, with my incredible disdain of the minigun in UT3 pushing me to the brink of assholery. However, I’d like to think that I’ve made progress since then.

In the course of those two weeks of practice and competition, Annie always appeared very calm and reasonable. She never raged over a tactic or a weapon, never got upset (at least never seemed upset :P ) about missing a timing and letting her opponent get a powerup, or anything like that. When she beat someone in a Deathmatch, which was probably every time she was challenged, she never gloated, and she always made sure to congratulate the other player for playing his/her best. Her whole demeanor spoke “professional” to me. She was there to play, there to teach, and there to congratulate a good play or shot. I feel that the general gaming community is starting to lose sight of sportsmanship.

I have one saving grace that is preventing me from completely falling into the boundless hole of cynicism, and that is the competitive community that I’ve found recently in Team Fortress 2. I’m not going to get into the game specifically, but I know that in all of the ammomod and deathmatch servers that I frequent, everyone is welling to say “nice shot” to a sweet aerial, meatshot, or flick. I’m not anywhere near CEVO, ETF2L, or even straight division play, but I’ve played with people who do compete at what would be deemed the professional level, and I’m glad to see that the concept of professionalism isn’t wasted on them. Just my two cents.

Anyway, Annie, I honestly don’t know why you wanted to audition for UG2. It seems like a pointless show, like most reality TV shows, and you already have sponsorships and a spot on EG. Seems like a ill-conceived choice, but that’s just me. Regardless, don’t let this Ciji stuff bother you, and good luck at all of your future competitions and tournaments.

Regards,
splice

I really don’t like responding or arguing on forums… but oh well. Time to come out of retirement, I guess. Here’s a little some, some from someone who actually knows Annie.

Wow @ LoLatcommentmoderation. You have a lot of crap to say about Annie, but it seems to me that you don’t really know much about her life, aspirations, or even about her personal accomplishments. It’s easy to talk shit when you haven’t had a chance to get to know someone and it’s also very easy to not believe someone when they’re saying something about the first person that you admired.

I don’t want to pretend to know much about Ciji, but I do get the feeling that the attention that she has garnered is because she grabs for anything that she can get, no matter how small it is. If it hadn’t been for a little ghetto gamespot.com competition that I saw her in, I would have never known or cared about Ciji… and even then I’m sad to say that the only thing that made her stand out from the other quiet kids was her red hair, short skirt, and the way she rubbed her ass on the surprised host’s lap.

I know what Annie is about and I’ve learned much about what Ciji is about through her decisions and actions. I have to say, I’m not impressed by Ciji… and I never really was. From the first day that I learned about Ciji, I saw her as more of a performer who uses image to earn sponsers and make money. In doing this, I think she is pretty smart. After seeing how jacked up Ciji can be with Annie for things she misunderstands and after seeing some of the other things that Ciji has done I can’t help but feel like gaming is all the world to her, enough to cause paranoia.

What I do know from Annie is that she is a crazy sweet & caring person, & she only responds when she is pushed. Annie loves competing and gaming, but I have also seen how her life is much more than that, with various admirable aspirations. Makes Ciji and her hatin’, and anyone else’s hatin’ for that matter, insignificant and of no consequence in my opinion. Despite being at a tough university, doing the things that she enjoys in life, and just dealing with life, she has kept up with her gaming. Makes me wonder how much more awesome she would be if she focused only on gaming like some other people do. I’m sure she would have killed it at the show auditions. She goes only for respectable competitions and for certain professional tech companies of which I actually have a good amount of respect for. What an awesome way to build up an impressive resume that can actually open up doors for you into the professional world. Now these are reasons worth standing out for. The word that comes to mind is “classy.” She has has real skills… and oh yeah, I guess she’s kind of cute too. =0P I’m sure I don’t have to tell you guys that one. Bunch of droolers. lol. j/k

@ LoLatcommentmoderation

I wouldn’t be surprised that this is Ciji because she frequently Googles her own name/screenname.

I’d never heard Ciji’s name until later last year when she was around Mike Ross, and that I even heard it at all was a product of how many people laugh at her constantly on forums like SA.

Outside the arcades & circles she has frequented & the fact that at some point she was a part of Empire Arcadia, I don’t think she is even relevant with regard to the fighting game scene. She’s been somewhat self congratulatory about her skills at SC & SF4, but I can mention her name to a variety of top fighting gamers from different areas of the community and she just doesn’t ring a bell.

The honest truth is that when people do recognize her name, it’s not a result of her skills.

Maybe constant drama is her way of marketing herself, in which case I’d say that she’s better skilled at throwing tantrums than at games. If she really wanted to get better at games and she really cared about playing fighting games – or any game for that matter – she’d spend more time playing and less time changing the privacy settings on her Twitter.

23

I agree with your views in your blog post, Annie. Anyone who says they are experts in their chosen field, and are then proven wrong, are in my opinion, out of touch with themselves. I myself, am still learning some of the tricks of the trade. This means whenever I play Guitar Hero or Rock Band, I try to do the best job I can, without failing out. And yes, I am still learning. I may not be as good a player as you are, Annie, but I am least trying to learn the song that I am having trouble with. I respect your skill and ability. Hopefully I will be as proficient as you. Keep up the good work.

24

I can’t say I didn’t see something like this coming, it was only a matter of time. Many of you probably have never heard her speak my name, as she quickly dismantled it and replaced it with her own. I created this abomination, I provided inspirations, I showed her the path and I educated her on how to navigate it. I am responsible and I am ashamed, had I known what would become of her before, I wouldn’t have taken it this far.

This began about 4 years ago (Summer 2006) in Dallas, Texas, where I met her at a Guitar Hero tournament hosted by McDonalds. I was exclusively a PC competitor, but I liked Guitar Hero and thought I’d go ahead and enter the competition. I won this qualifying tournament, and I attended the remaining qualifier rounds as a spectator. I talked to Ciji at each of the events and taught her what I knew about professional video gaming, and of the incentives. She was intrigued and begun conducting a plan.

The first step was stripping her of the Playstation fanboy title she was proud of and getting her onto a competitive platform. That step was hard for her, so we put it aside for awhile. She needed a name, and she was in love with transformers at the time. She had a few corny ideas that she texted me, then I thought of StarSlayer. She took to the name quickly and I immediately went to register it with X-Box Live before someone else took it. It was taken already, so I added the ‘3′ into the name to make it somewhat original. Now you know where her name really came from, not from Slayer derived from Halo, or extracting the ‘3′ from ‘1337 speak’. In fact, she had never played Halo before.

She never beat any of her friends at Guitar Hero while in Texas, or any game for that matter. She did become one of the top 16 finalist in Texas but not for winning a qualifier. She lost every single one of the qualifiers and they took pity on her, she received a ‘wild card’, a free pass into the finals. She lost her first match. Oh, and while we’re talking about her falsified resume, at those same finals there was a Need For Speed Carbon side tournament that we participated in. She claims that she placed 2nd by a mere second in the tournament, the truth is that she was racing against me who won 1st. Only two people to a race, of course she got 2nd to the winner.

She is advertising, marketing, a mascot. Nobody will ever take her seriously, and she doesn’t seem to want to be taken seriously. My point is that she is a fake, and I can confirm it from a personal relation. Shit, the girl doesn’t (didn’t) know what a BFG is and thinks that the Shotgun is the most powerful weapon in Quake. She is an ungrateful compulsive liar.

Oh well, I know her better than most but I keep watching from a distance. It just makes me want to say something…I feel like she is haunting me.

25

Well, seeing as how we’re roastin ciji, i’m one of the people she knew from texas, that apparently she beat so easily….
here’s a new vid from her http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bAOJCzyJD8w&feature=player_embedded
and following is a comment i tried to leave, but will probably never get to see the light of day on her youtube because she has to approve the comments on there.

Ummmm, for the record, i had to beat freebird for her on GH2, there’s a lot of stuff that she’s making up and omitting from this wonderful blog of hers. For one, all of her friends from texas beat her in every game she tried them at, she mentions MGC, at the finals, which she got favored into for her looks, she didnt get past the second bracket (i’m being generous) at any of the MGC and the person that beat her at the finals had never been to any of the other MGC events, they were allowed to play because we had an odd number and good ol’ starslayer here thought she could beat a new comer female. Which didnt work out, she got stomped. Then she went on to do a few photo ops with a guy dressed to look like good old Ronald from mickey d’s.

If ever there were a poster child for a charity case it’d be this person. We were nice to her, she acted nice to us only to get in good with the people running the events, to drop our names and make herself look trusted and good. At MGC we supported her through all her suck, listened to a new excuse as to why she wasn’t doing good that night. She talks about working hard, quite sure she stole that from me, I’d leave straight from some of these events and go to work at 6 am with maybe 4 hours of sleep from the past couple of days. I played better with a broken right hand, still in the cast, then she could ever hope for. She’s a gimmick, but I guess she’s getting her name out there, or maybe she’s just getting around, is it a good day when Jay Leno posts a clip of you walking and says you’re the new mascot for wendy’s?? People can yell haters as much as they want for what we post here, but it’s fact, not hating.

26

Lets just get the truth out there.

Now that you brought it up CC, and after I watched that pathetic video of hers, does anyone remember that I had just been discharged from a rehabilitation center in Dallas for a Traumatic Brain Injury as the result of a roll over car accident? Where I spent 3 months in a Coma, and 7 additional months teaching myself how to coordinate my fingers and limbs? To teach my brain the difference between red and yellow? Revitalize my motor skills – physical and mental perception? To learn how to talk and walk again as if I were an infant?

You didn’t hear me complain. I had a chance to play the game after Christmas of 2005 up until January 9th of 2006 and woke up in the hospital sometime in March of 2006. I was released from the hospital after an excruciating physical recovery around May, then entering Cognitive rehab during the day. I still gave the top players at the time a run for their money, and I qualified legitimately into the finals. In the same year I won a qualification round to a Ridge Racer final in Nashville, Tennessee, where I finished in 2nd place and was awarded $10,000 in cold, hard cash. In the following year, my name was drawn for a Quake 4 Quickdraw match at Quakecon where I won an additional grand. If I were able to keep this going, I could call myself a genuine professional gamer, as I would be able to live off of these winnings.

Unfortunately, tournaments with large purses have declined and many of the largest events closed their doors in America. I diverted my attention to school where I can increase my chances of a comfortable future, possibly creating the games you compete in. The reason I am giving you such a detailed description of my history is to allow people who are reading this something to help develop insight on this situation with. She talks about how hard it is, how much she had to give up, the mountains she had to climb, she talks about these things as if she were the only one. You’ve left so much baggage Ciji, I have only begun to clear it out. To think that at one time you made me believe you were a friend.

We never spoke a word of it, we let you do your thing, in fact, we wished you the best, but it’s just sickening now. You act as if you’re a saint, a person with nothing but good intentions and a clean slate. All you’re looking for is the next couch to sleep on. These charities help you more than you help them, you are the charity case. What a great way to get exposure though huh? To be seen in a positive light, handing out stickers and fliers with your name printed all over them. Don’t you remember your Daughter Hailey? That should be the charity you donate to, instead you use her existence to gain support in popularity contests (Ultimate Gamer for example). Who have you benefited other than yourself? Think about it. You’re selfish, two-faced, and manipulative.

Now you’re effecting more than just us. Karma is a bitch, isn’t it? GG ForgeFanatic (StarSlay3r). What happened to you? I have plenty more to spill. This has everything to do with her status, it is a lie. She claims that I am talking shit, I am merely telling the truth.

These chicks who attention whore themselves out and say they are good at games is just annoying. I’ve played this annie chick in games and she sucks hard. She got mad at me for being rude to her, but if you go in a server and try to be all cute, it’s not hard to be rude. Stop being stupid and get a real job. I’ve done the whole “competitive girl gaming scene” and it is as fake as it comes. Sponsors tell you to do stupid shit at booths and wear slutty clothes. All of the girl gamers I play with (including myself) are modest at their skill level and try to get better, not try to whore themselves out on the internet to get a bunch of twitter followers. This is ridiculous, if i was annie or ciji I would be embarrassed.

28

I started playing GH5 andI was looking up videos and found some of your FCs… I actually saw a lot of them and realized you’re really good. I mean I already discovered this at Devastation but this time it made me think.. Why does Ciji get so much public recognition and you don’t (at least not as much). You love this game so much and you play it so well you’ve become one of the best. Girl or guy, that’s a huge achievement. Ciji slaps these stupid titles on herself and pretty much whores herself out to whatever spotlight she can get, and because you have self respect and dignity, you’re left a step behind her. That’s so unfair it pisses me off, and I’m not even involved.

I wholeheartedly agree with everything you’ve said in this entry. She slaps this label on herself for protection and I think people need to see through that. She told me she was one of the best at GH and I found that to be false when you called her out on it. Then she said she was busy playing SFI\//Tekken but I know from observation she’s just a scrub. Each time someone points out she’s actually horrible at a game, she says “well… that’s not my strongpoint.. I’m actually playing _____ now” … It’s just sad how hard shes keeps trying to make a name for herself while having no REAL credentials.

Back at Devastation, I didn’t know either of you and I threw you both in the same category just because of a couple things I heard and that one blog entry I read. I didn’t realize that, unlike Ciji, you don’t google yourself all the time. Unlike Ciji, you don’t talk massive shit and hate on people for being better than you. Unlike Ciji, you actually have skill. Honestly, if I were you I would hate her for being such a god damn fraud. You had every right to post shit about her in your blog back during Devastation, and you still do now.

I misjudged you and I’m really sorry for criticizing you the last time I posted here.

I hope to see you this year at Devastation (if you go) and good luck on your future competitions. I’ve become a fan. :]

woots, she posted a new video…disabled the comments so no one can comment on what she’s saying, and wont accept messages from people who arent her friend, so here’s the message i tried to send her

you disabled comments, booo to that. well, as far as i know we didnt care that you didnt mention us by name, we cared that you made comments that werent true, get the facts straight and i bet you people will stop “talking shit” bout you

here’s a link to the video

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A5FlanXNiBY&feature=youtu.be

my name is spelled Stefan, and not pronounced the way she butchered it, there are so many facts wrong in that video we’d(josh and i) have to post a video of our own to correct them in any decent unlengthy fashion.

just to say something now though, she didnt tell most of us when she left for cali. i found out through her myspace location that she wasnt in texas anymore, thanks for keeping your friends in the loop right?? i could talk shit about the tournaments she’s been in and say “hey, it dont take much for someone to throw a competition,” but that’d just be childish. i only talked about the things i have dealt with dealing with her, such as the fact that she beat all her friends in texas and other such incidents. apparently now, unless you’re saying how great she is and that you idolize her, you’re talkin shit about her and trying to make her look bad. if she would have told the truth in the beginning about not being all too fantastic and being granted opportunities based on her looks, we’d have nothing to say, because we’d have nothing to correct. it takes a lot of comments to correct a lot of continuous mistakes, someone needs to go damn the mistake river so we can talk about something more important, like OMG cat, the THX remake http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0WGJX6p8fGU

30

rofl, i should make a blog of my own for this stuff, 2 messages i got after leaving comments on her videos, one of which was given to me at the time by josh, who was still friends with her 2 days ago, rofl, and the second i found here…now, seeing as she cant get messages from people who arent her friends, sending me a message for an actual conversation is defeating the purpose right?? well, here’s message 1

ok…
ok…
So by watching your “fire breathing video” either A) this is you, or b) you just said that’s you and it’s really your friend whom I DO know but you see this: http://i245.photobucket.com/albums/gg62/StarSlay3r/mgc2006.jpg

Yeah WE used to be friends. So what the fuck?

When I said “I was better than all my friends” I said that part BEFORE MGC meaning I was better than my friends that I fuckin knew at the time because it was TRUE. I think EVERY gamer does that were they go “a tournament? Well I guess I should try… I beat so and so and and so and so all day long and they’re good”. Obviously… I didn’t know you then, I didn’t know Josh, I was basing that off from my friends billy, jason, steve etc..

I SAID that when I got there (MGC) I was in over my head because you guys were all good. I gave you all credit for HELPING me and giving me tips so why hate on me? I SAID I couldn’t even 100% songs… I SAID I wasn’t good. I went 6 months without playing the game then picked it up again 2 weeks before MGC and went to HAVE FUN! I never competed in that game before… so why the fuck get all pissy about what I said and say I was exaggerating? I never said I was good back then… I said I got ENOUGH POINTS to move on. I didn’t even have that many, but I had enough to get into top 16.

You said that they only let me in because of looks right? http://i245.photobucket.com/albums/gg62/StarSlay3r/mgc2006.jpg

See that? That’s the points for that tournament. If I got in because of my looks does that mean that Kyle, Jared, Austin and Roger all sucked someone off to get in or what? There were 8 people who scored 3 points and the people who were seeded the highest moved onto finals. You know this, so remove whatever stick is up your ass and stop being a dick on my page. If you’re going to talk shit back it up. I don’t give two shits if you helped me to “BEAT FREEBIRD” in 2006 when I was a shitty player. I can 5 star that shit now… so what the hell does it matter how shitty I was 3 1/2 years ago? You obviously have nothing else better to do but hate… next time if you’re gonna hate back it up cuz I didn’t do SHIT to you so cut it out.
——————

now we cant prove she didnt say she beat all her friends before MGC because she deleted that video, cant use the one from tv because they edit shit

message 2

Why I’m EXTRA pissed off in that message it’s because NOW I remember seeing your youtube name talking shit about me on a SF4 video… so yeah… not only do you get raging pissed about a vlog I did talking about guitar hero but you then decide to go off and google my name on youtube to talk shit on OTHER pages that don’t require moderation? Your’e a real big man. I never would have figured that 3 years down the line that cool nice guy who was fun to hang out with would turn into another one of those internet trolls. Such a shame.
————–

now i cant tell her that video was posted here because there’s no way to contact her, rofl lawlz yall, and sorry for such the lengthy comment, but like i said, it takes a lot to fix mistakes

31

fudge i’m gonna get banned for spam, alright, found my comment i posted on SF4, talkin shit, well, i was commenting on someone elses post about the events that were “edited” out of the video

ummmm, it’s a 7+ min video for me, you can hear him talkin shit…..but that’s what happens in games, you dont play people and talk like an english gentleman, if they dont deserve to hear gg you dont say it…try hitting the replay button to see more than a min of video

Does Miss Ciji know what a troll is? Does she know the difference between hate, shit talking and the truth? I’m sorry that she finds the truth so insulting, but that’s all it is, the truth. We responded to correct her lies, we didn’t target her or attack her. We took exactly what she said and reiterated it to communicate exactly how events actually played out. It’s really stupid considering these lies would hardly effect your reputation at all if you had originally told the truth. You don’t have a name for your ability to play games, you have it from how social you are. That’s not even a bad thing, but when you claim fame to something you can’t actually do, that’s not cool to those who worked for everything they’ve accomplished.

We’re not trying to shit on her name, or hold her back. We stayed quiet for almost 4 years and let her do her thing, it’s just gotten way out of control. We infuse a little bit of truth onto her reputation and she thinks we’re just jealous or something? She claims she won’t make up lies, talk shit back and insult us – she never had a problem doing that before. She can’t talk back because she knows we’re right. The truth is not subjective.

Anyway, she blocked all means of communication from us to her, so she has denied us the ability to defend ourselves against her claims. In response, Stefan and I will create a video. It’s the only way. We are not hiding our names or faces, we’re not telling people to not like her, we’re telling people what really happened. Honestly, we couldn’t care less, but we’re not the ones lying. We were potentially good friends, and we all took mercy on her. We felt sorry for her and tried to shine a light into her life. We never asked for a thing in return.

You’re the ultimate “troll”. Falsified logic to moralize a massive amount of hopefuls, deceit in character and an unfaltering mistake in the lives of all those whom encounter you. I don’t want your name, I don’t want your status, I don’t even want to be affiliated with you. You are a stain on all of our lives. I don’t aspire to fame, especially created from a lie. That’s you, not me.

I’m a big gamer, but I’m nowhere near the best at any game. I can hold my own against the best, but I know they’ll win when it comes to most games. I can’t say I haven’t shit-talked and said I’m the best while I’m playing my friends (Who doesn’t do that anyway?), but if I’m asked, I’ll say that there are a LOT of people better than me. This Ciji chick needs to eat a dick ten inches in diameter, thus choking her and cutting off the noise endlessly spewing from her shithole. ^_^ With all due respect.
Mofobain, I’m stalking you.

34

hey yall, it’s me again, she’s posted part two, what what oh snaps yall, this some sick shit yo, she’s rippin us a new one, roflmao

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y_lSkcaXLKc&feature=youtu.be

odd how she’s not talkin about beating all her friends and needing to move to cali for real comp. and also, nobody, who’s trying to clear their name would prevent discussion on the topic right there where they’re spewing it forth. the stuff she talks about in this vlog i’m not too keen on, because i could give two shits from a rats ass on what she’s doin in life and all, the only thing mofobian and i have requested is that she start tellin the truth about her past, which she kinda did in the earlier video, and message to me, trying to show that she scored 3 points and was put into the finals legit wise, but then that doesnt coincide with her beating all her friends and needing to move to cali for a real challenge, and she mentions gettin off her knees….now if someone mentions you get things for your looks, it does not mean you get things for the sexual favors you do…….

well, i’ve made yet another lengthy post, i’m quite sure there’ll be more in the future, i’ll try and keep em shorter….later responses might be in video form, if there are any later responses…

I’m not going to get in the middle of this or anything, but I’d like to make something public. I’ve not been a well known pro gamer, and when Guitar Hero first started having tourneys, I started enrolling into them cos I felt I was pretty good. I ended up having a huge winning streak over the course of a year and a half. I wanted to go national and started looking into it. Then I started meeting people, trying to get my foot in the door. Even still, money was still the problem. I devoted large amounts of time into my gaming and making as many tourneys as I could. As I was doing all of that, I started looking into sponsors. I then started considering myself “pro”. Things were going smooth until my life started to fall apart…I won’t get into that. I still have yet to be beaten on Xbox Live in Guitar Hero and Rock Band. Nowadays, though, after several years, I’ve decided to not try and go any further with it. It’s not something I can do right now, but it would’ve been fun if something worked out. So, I’ve officially resigned my pro status. I’ve always felt Ciji was cool. I’ve always been friends with rivals. Enemies of friends, friends of friends, and the like. I’m just a neutral guy and look at both sides of the fence. I’m not saying one is wrong or the other. My personal view on this argument is to just let the careers play out and eventually things will come out (whether what has been said is true or not). As far as I’m concerned, both sides have issues that need resolved. I don’t know what they are, but everyone has issues. No one is perfect. I’m not standing up for either side. All this flaming I’ve witnessed just exposes bad stuff on both sides…..it doesn’t make anyone look good. I know my words won’t be taken into account, but I’d rather they be said than forgotten about. I’m friends with Josh and Ciji. They both introduced me to each other. In my book, they are both alright. So, I shall say one more time, I am not getting in the middle of this. I don’t feel like losing friends. I hope this doesn’t piss anyone off……

“First of all, I don’t hate Ciji and I have no reason to be jealous of her. I do not dedicate my blogs on criticizing other players either.” Annie Leung July 16th

Now you’re doing this. Sorry but I can’t help but say it sure looks like you dedicated a blog to criticizing her.

Also to Mofobian she “blocked all communications” with you online but did you ever try calling or emailing her? V and I just talked to her earlier today, her phone works you know and according to her she called you a few days ago and you never called her back so she blocked you for resorting to talking shit online instead of talking to her about it face to face. Stop acting like you actually tried to resolve the issue when you’re resorting to talking about her on another persons blog instead of to her personally. Also, I haven’t seen any posts from you on HER website. Did you even think about that?

Who the fuck cares what she calls herself? I’ve been supportive of her as has V, why can’t you two? You act like she’s making shit up and you’re so bothered by it then why not say shit 3 years ago or 2 years ago or even 1 year ago? So because you saw a video where you misunderstood you have to now talk shit about stuff from 4 years ago? Also, even just for shits and giggles lets just say she never even attended MGC just to take this to the fullest extent. Does that affect anything else she did? She DID make it to nationals for Guitar Hero since then, and that wasn’t something she could do based on looks alone.

I read all of your comments criticizing her video and I watched all 3 of her videos (including the one that was pulled down) and you guys apparently didn’t watch the same videos because you’re talking about shit that she didn’t even say.

“such as the fact that she beat all her friends in texas and other such incidents. ” Where did she say that? I heard her say she beat all her friends at GH so she thought she was good and entered MGC. If that was her first time at the tournament and she hadn’t met you yet how would you think that you were a friend she was talking about? I think she already mentioned that in her 2nd vlog however. She never said “I beat all my friends in Texas” and she also said that she got her ass kicked at MGC which according to you was accurate so I don’t see where she crossed the line. She didn’t know you before MGC.

“but then that doesnt coincide with her beating all her friends and needing to move to cali for a real challenge” She said in her video she got a job working in the video game industry in California. I never heard her say she moved to cali for lack of a challenge in texas. Where the fuck did you pull that from?

“and she mentions gettin off her knees….now if someone mentions you get things for your looks, it does not mean you get things for the sexual favors you do…….” In her video she said “If I got in because of looks how did those OTHER 4 GUYS GET IN?” And then she pretended to get on her knees and said “It must have sucked to be those 4 guys in GH. Oh I really wanna make top 16 let me get down on my knees”

You guys are so angry about her vlogs that you can’t stop talking shit on this blog yet you can’t even quote shit right. Go watch her videos for a 15th time cuz the first 14 times you watched you STILL don’t understand. Oh and if you had to find out she moved via myspace you’re a shitty friend. Everyone else in TX knew she was moving to Canada for a job, at least mofobian and V and I all took the time to say goodbye to her before she left.

37

Now you’re doing this. Sorry but I can’t help but say it sure looks like you dedicated a blog to criticizing her.

Not a single blog or post on this site has been an “out of left field” attack or stab at Ciji… ever. Just like Mofobian and CCFROMAN have done, they have all been for the sole purpose of correcting false statements, blatant lies and for setting records straight with nothing more then the truth. If we, or anybody for that matter wanted to attack Ciji there is more than enough information out there about her personal life to do that.

I’m not going to sit here and act like I know the history between Mofobian, Froman and Ciji… but if her repetitive actions over the past three years that I’ve witnessed are even a slight glimpse into how she is outside of the gaming world, then I’m surprised they kept quiet for this long. From an outsiders point of view this type of cycling behavior could easily be classified as schizophrenic, something she doesn’t seem to be very far off from. Think about it: Believing things that aren’t true, always feeling like the victim of some grand scheme and spending endless nights without sleep worrying about how to defend them. People end up in padded rooms after doing this for too long. Throw in the stalking Mike Ross and threatening to ’sue’ people for freedom of speech and expressing opinions like she’s a 12-year-old kid who just got left out of a birthday party, and we’re one quirk away from full on mental disorder.

She never made it to ‘nationals’ for anything. The only national tournaments to use a Guitar Hero game have been WCG 2008 and WCG 2009, both of which she never even won a single pre-qualifier game for. If you’re referring to that ridiculous Gamespot ‘Rock-tacular’ event then drop it. Like proven earlier, she was let into that event for free because they needed a 4th person due to a no show. And she lost horribly to Schmegery and Shift who were destroying CoP and TTFAF while she sat on guys laps playing a 3rd-tier song trying to get through on ‘performance’ points. That’s what you’re defending? Are you serious? If so then I know a few strippers that have the ability to place 3rd at national tournaments as well.

Sure people are angry at her vlogs, because every single time she tries to defend herself in them she completely goes in an opposite direction and fails to stay on the discussion at hand. Just like everything else she’s ever done, she dances around the subject and keeps skimming pieces of it off until she has it manipulated into her own favor. By the time she’s done addressing something it’s about something else. A face to face conversation with her must be impossible. Sometimes I think she’s the world’s greatest troll. If she turns around in two years and says “LOL YOU ALL FELL FOR IT” I honestly wouldn’t be surprised.

However, facts are fucking facts no matter what you try to do to them.

Fact: Ciji has never won a single tournament with a good player in it.
Fact: Ciji manipulates information for her own favor.
Fact: Ciji uses the disguise of charity to advertise herself.
Fact: Ciji makes an excuse for 99.9% of all losses she’s ever had.
Fact: Ciji isn’t good enough to be a top-tier player at any game.

All I can say at this point is what I’ve said before: No one actually wants this girl to fail. We don’t sit here on a daily basis hoping she continues this routine of losing and then making an excuse as to why. It’s just that she guarantees a train wreck with every decision and it’s impossible to look away from. The only “hate” that exists is for fabrication. She had the nerve to compare herself to someone like Justin Wong in that last video? Saying how she could easily get angry at him for not being as good as him?

HELLO – THIS IS NOT THE SAME SITUATION AND THIS IS WHERE THE CONFUSION MUST BE EXISTING IN HER MIND.

I’m sure there are people out there that hate Justin. And the same goes for all top players of their respective games, it comes with the territory. But do you see any of them making endless amounts of Vlogs, forum posts and blogs to try and prove themselves to people? Of course not! Why? Because all they have to do is point to that tournament they won and laugh. Their ability will always speak for them – something Ciji can’t, and has never been able to do. That’s why she tries to make it up with petty lists of falsified information and achievements only the most desperate of people would use to pad their list of accomplishments.

38

“M”, I received her phone call and chose not to return it as I had seen her video response that was already made public. At that point I decided it wasn’t even worth bothering to resolve, and I was ready to simply let her go. I am not talking shit, I said things in perhaps a very harsh and maybe a little hostile way, but I did not pull facts out of thin air just to try and make her look bad. We’re using this blog to speak out because she made all other ways to do so unavailable. It’s already public; I didn’t see any need to resolve this issue via a private phone conversation when it concerns more people than just us.

Yes, at this point I do think I should have kept quiet and maintained the peace, just like I have for years. I wouldn’t even know about this had I not stumbled upon this blog while searching for the Ultimate Gamer 2 cast voting. Perhaps we took what she said too literally, but you can’t blame us for that when her implications were in a very vague manner. Anyone who is unaware of her past would take what she said for what it sounded like. The people who are discussing this blog are doing so logically and I don’t see her disputing any of the claims. That doesn’t seem right, the Ciji I know is always on the defense, but perhaps she has changed and I’ve lost touch with how the girl represents herself.

If your M is an initial for who I think, I understand that this concerns you personally, although slightly bias. I expected you to come to her defense; I really didn’t want to threaten any other relations besides the one between myself and Ciji. By correcting what I thought was wrong, I did not intend to begin a stir and provoke an aggressive response. I did expect her to respond formally by either reiterating her statement in a clearer fashion so we can put the lock back on our mouths, or rephrase it so that we can confirm that what we heard was correct. Yes, we were angry and we addressed the issue with haste – but nothing I said was untrue or meant to belittle her. So if it’s true, why would it offend her for it to be expressed? Why oppress it? We may be off subject, but it wasn’t made up.

The Ciji I knew was a very kind hearted girl, but that was only what she allowed me to see on the front stage. What she was really conducting backstage I can’t be sure, but from recent events it tells me that she fully intended to manipulate. This didn’t turn out this way by chance. If she had never been to MGC, there would never have been a StarSlay3r, I’m not saying that she was completely our creation, but the name was definitely mine. A certain chain of events involving a trip to Florida that ended up costing her a car had lead her to a job interview with Red Octane in California, I think you get my drift. Would if, what if, if – is not a valid argument for what is.

I will not apologize for discussing what really happened, I do not understand why I should. Yes, we were best friends once, and at least good friends not even 3 days ago, but when she made us feel like nothing to her then we returned the sentiments. If she can’t take it, then she shouldn’t have provoked it. We supported her, and I am quite positive I was her biggest supporter. That didn’t change despite our conflicts for quite some time, I was always right there cheering her on and encouraging her in anything she did. Like stryfe said, nobody is wishing her failure, but nobody wants to be the source of her falsified stats and be expected to stay quiet.

I didn’t plan to write anymore past my last entry, but I felt I needed to respond to “M”. Ciji is the only one who is seeing this as hate. It is not a private matter, clearly.

39

Additionally, from what I hear, she is accusing me of silently talking poorly of her over the last couple of years. If I were talking badly of Ciji, she would have known about it and exactly who was behind it. I do not have any reason to go around spreading rumors and lies about the girl. This is the only blog I’ve responded to concerning her, and I did not respond with a flurry of name calling and insults. Over the last couple of years I can’t say Ciji has even crossed my mind. We exchanged words from time to time and then went along with our business, but nothing more.

Should I not feel battered? Abused and challenged? I’ve found myself being her primary suspect for everything that ever went wrong in her life. I was such a good friend that I let her do that, desperately searching for a way to prove my innocence to every accusation she threw my way. Once again, I am the focus of her so-called “hater” problem, when I’ve had little to do with her for years. This isn’t about us anymore, it’s not a secret that you can confide and be sure will always be confidential. This is your “career”, and I am not the antagonist, I am not her rival, I am not a threat. Nobody is responsible for that institution of her life but herself. If she were honest there wouldn’t be any problem here.

Even now, I wish her the best in her ambitions, but I do not support a lie. I think it’s interesting, even if we were wrong about what she said, what we said shouldn’t have been a big deal, she was there, she knows what actually happened. Nobody is going to “hate” on her for being honest.

40

rofl @ M, for starters with all we’ve said i’m amazed you’ll believe that she called him trying to talk to him about this in private when she’s going on her oh-so-special youtube channel and trying to put us on blast for things we’ve never said.

next, mofobian was friends with her on damn near every social networking site she was a part of, and she removed him from those after we started telling the truth about her past accomplishments. this started because of a vlog she made talkin about she felt like she should move to cali cause she beat all her friends. i watched the video, tried to comment on it, and bam all of a sudden the video’s made private. i have two messages on youtube that i cant respond to because she only accepts messages from friends, and then viola, like magic, there’s a new video up. partially concurring with what we’ve been saying this whole time, and then twisting everything else around to seem like an attack on her to make y’all love her even more because we’re being hateful douchebags that tried to make a name for ourselves in competition and failed because we lost at the first round in all of them. you want mofobian to post on her sites, but that requires you to be her friend, and inflate her ego. otherwise you get this situation we have here. go and read the comments on any of her things that allow them, it’s be nice to me or be my enemey.

well, as far as i know, she hasnt been running around for 4 years telling everyone on the internet that she’s steamrolled all the competition that she was put up against before she moved. all the “where’d you pull that crap from” came mostly from the video that she’s made private that’s started all of this, kinda tough to pop it up here and prove it when she’s hiding it ya know. i’m guessing you’ve never heard the term “cooking the books.” she went to almost every MGC and lost the first round, meaning that those other four guys could have at worst, only won one first round, or just done the same and went to almost every MGC. now lets think of the odds of that actually happening……..thought enough?? i want to give you plenty of time because you seem a bit slow M. well, i’ve waited enough, now, let’s think of the chances that they saw a pretty girl trying to play the game, and wanted her at the finals to help draw a crowd, and so they thought to themselves…well, what can we do to get her in that’ll make it seem fair to everyone who tried at the events. ta-fudgin-da, we have 5 people with 3 points, omg, and they’re in the top 16, holy smokes, they all get to make it to the finals, hooray!!!

i admit i didnt talk to her much during those tournament days and after, because believe it or not, some of us have to work. as i mentioned before, at that time i was working so much that i literally had 4 hours of sleep over the weekend, if that. do you think i only work on weekends? i would work like that for months at a time before getting anything near a sane schedule. you can ask any of my friends that knew me then, everytime they’d text me or try to call, i’d either be at work or asleep. guess who wouldnt respond, and couldnt bother to send wicked ol’ froman a message??? i’m sorry if you think it’s my responsibility to check on all my friends and know when they’re moving via some social networking site, but i got news for ya. this “such good friend” road is a two way street. i never called her out on being a bad friend until now(omg sound familiar, rofl) because i know that sometimes, people get really busy and forget things. i’m ready, willing, and able to start calling out all past grievances(An actual or supposed circumstance regarded as just cause for complaint: i just did you a solid M) when someone wants to lie and distort what i say when i’m telling the truth. if she really was going to put out a 2nd video saying what we said, and we just didnt give her time to do it, she wouldnt have pulled down the initial video and then start posting videos trying to slam us and others that are just telling the truth. she could have replied to the comment that i left on the video saying anything to the extent of, i’m gettin to that part. instead, she hides the video, fires off two fantastically worded emails instead of trying to hold a conversation, and then magically found a comment that i posted on a video involving her, but the comment was directed towards one of the other commentors, and i was still somehow shit talking her. i’m not the one trying to make myself look like the victim of constant attack. if this truly were just a misunderstanding among friends, or even acquaintances, it could easily have been handled with a few comment replies. she must think highly of mofobian and i to have dedicated an entire 10 min video(i believe the majority was to him) to the both of us.

this one here though, is for you M.

damn i made a mistake, “put us on blast for things we’ve never said,” should read, “put us on blast for shit talking we never said.” my apologies.

“She DID make it to nationals for Guitar Hero since then, and that wasn’t something she could do based on looks alone.” – M

Thought 1: Okay I’m going to go off on a tangent for a second.. Take Amanda Peet for example.. she’s a beautiful woman but has absolutely no acting talent. She’s garbage but she became famous and it doesn’t make sense why. On the other hand, look at Julia Roberts. Wonderful actress, but her face looks like a horse’s.. in the world of fake-ass Hollywood it’s surprising she got so famous (honestly though, good for her… not hating just cuz she’s not pretty IMO).

StarSlay3r is a strange wonder because she isn’t like either of these people and she somehow became well known. She comes up short in both categories… by a lot. She’s like the competitive gaming community’s equivalent of Rosie O’Donnell.

Thought 2: Ciji thinks her lame videos, shit-talking, and very precious few friends give her the strength of a damn typhoon. In reality it’s more like a toilet bowl overflowing.. it smells like a god damn mess and though you can’t stop it, you also can’t stop watching it. Although a lot of people have fun hating her (see: YCS threads on SomethingAwful) it just feeds her more, so I think the best way to get her to shut up is to pretend she doesn’t exist.

“I still have yet to be beaten on Xbox Live in Guitar Hero and Rock Band” – V

I find that hard to believe- reveal yourself.

I find it funny how progamers bicker like children.

A few things are obvious to me:

1. Ciji / StarSlay3r is a compulsive liar and attention whore. This is the absolute worst kind of person, like a virus or parasite.

2. Ciji does not have anything close to top Guitar Hero skills. There is no evidence that her skill approaches Annie’s.

3. Annie has posted evidence in the form of FC videos for difficult songs like Scream Aim Fire, Mr Crowley etc. on YouTube. This counts for a lot.

Finally:

4. Annie seems like a wonderful person. I’m embarrassed for her that she allowed Ciji to “get to her” enough to write this post on her website. All it does is draws additional attention to Ciji, which is exactly what Ciji so desperately wants! Can’t you see that? It’s glaringly obvious. Her reputation does not stand on its own merit – she seeks constant attention to keep her from being forgotten.

And this 45 comment post massively amplifies her attention.

Annie, you should have known better than to address Ciji on your own site. My advice is to delete this post and any reference to her and stop allowing yourself to be used as a tool to give her any further attention.

Ciji is a troll who feeds on attention and if you stop giving it to her, she becomes powerless.
